Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the FaithPulse mobile app, faithpulse.com, and related services (together, the Service), operated by Phrontis Holdings LLC ("we", "us"), a Virginia limited liability company. By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who May Use FaithPulse

You must be at least 13 years old to hold an account. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf. Household features are designed for families to use together; the adult who creates a household is responsible for its members' use.

You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

2. What FaithPulse Is — And Is Not

FaithPulse is a spiritual formation tool: Scripture reading, guided prayer, journaling, study, and shared practice with a group. Some features use artificial intelligence to summarize passages, surface Scripture, and respond to questions.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

FaithPulse is usable at no cost on the free plan. Paid plans unlock additional features. We offer paid plans through two channels, and the terms differ by channel.

Plans and prices

All prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax that may apply in your jurisdiction. Church and organization plans are quoted separately; see faithpulse.com/churches.

Automatic renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically. A monthly plan renews every month and an annual plan renews every year, at the then-current price for your plan, charged to your payment method on the renewal date, until you cancel. We will tell you in advance of any price change that would affect your renewal, and you may cancel before it takes effect.

Where you bought matters

• Purchased on faithpulse.com: billed by Phrontis Holdings LLC through Stripe. Manage or cancel from the link in your Stripe receipt, or email us.
• Purchased inside the app: billed by Apple or Google under their terms. We cannot cancel or refund those purchases — you must manage them in your App Store or Google Play account settings. This is a platform restriction, not a choice of ours.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time, for any reason, with no cancellation fee.

• Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your access continues through the end of the period you already paid for — we do not cut you off the moment you cancel.
• Web subscriptions: use the manage link in your Stripe receipt, or email [email protected] and we will cancel it for you.
• App Store or Google Play subscriptions: cancel in your device's subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

5. Refunds

For subscriptions purchased on faithpulse.com:

• Within 14 days of your first payment on a plan, we will refund it in full on request. No explanation needed. Email [email protected] from the address on the account.
• Renewals: if an annual renewal caught you off guard, tell us within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it and cancel the plan.
• Outside those windows, payments are non-refundable, and cancelling stops future renewals rather than refunding past ones. We will still look at genuine billing errors, duplicate charges, and failures on our side at any time — write to us.
• One-time purchases such as VerseTrace packs are refundable within 14 days if the credits are unused.

Purchases made through Apple or Google must be refunded by them, under their refund policies. We do not receive those payments and cannot reverse them. Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com. Google: play.google.com.

Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer law of your country or state, where those rights cannot be waived.

5a. Gear — Physical Products

Apparel ordered from faithpulse.com/gear is sold by Phrontis Holdings LLC and paid through Stripe. These items are made to order — each piece is printed or embroidered after you buy it, and none of it is held in stock.

• Shipping. Free within the United States. Orders are produced and dispatched within 5–10 business days; you will receive tracking by email. We do not ship outside the United States yet.
• Prices and taxes. Prices are in USD and shown before any sales tax, which is calculated at checkout where we are required to collect it.
• Wrong, damaged, or misprinted. Send a photograph to [email protected] within 30 days of delivery and we will replace the item at no cost. You do not need to send the original back.
• Wrong size or changed your mind. Because every piece is made for you individually, we cannot restock a returned garment, so we do not offer open returns. Please use the size guide. If a piece does not fit, write to us within 30 days and we will replace it once at our cost as a courtesy.
• Cancelling an order. Email us within 2 hours of ordering and we will cancel and refund in full if production has not started. Once it is in production it cannot be cancelled.
• Lost in transit. If tracking shows no movement for 10 business days after dispatch, tell us and we will reship or refund.
• Delivery address. We ship to the address entered at checkout. We cannot recover an order sent to an address entered incorrectly, though we will always try.

Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer law of your state, where those rights cannot be waived.

6. Your Content

Journals, prayers, notes, and posts you write remain yours. You grant us only the limited licence needed to operate the Service — to store your content, show it back to you, and show it to the group you deliberately shared it with. We do not sell your content, and we do not use your private journal entries or prayers to train AI models. How data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for what you post to a group. Do not post unlawful, harassing, hateful, or infringing content, and do not share another person's private information — including details about someone who has not consented to being written about.

7. Acceptable Use

• Do not attempt to break, overload, probe, or reverse-engineer the Service.
• Do not resell, sublicense, or share paid access outside the household or group features designed for it.
• Do not use the AI features to generate content that is unlawful, abusive, or intended to deceive.
• Do not scrape or bulk-extract Scripture text, generated content, or other users' material.

We may suspend or close an account that violates these Terms. Where the breach is not serious, we will try to warn you first. If we close a paid account for a reason that is not your fault, we will refund the unused portion of your term.

8. Scripture and Third-Party Content

Scripture texts are used under licence from their respective publishers and remain the property of those publishers. Sermon content you import remains the property of its author or publisher; you are responsible for having the right to import it, and we will act on valid takedown requests.

9. Our Intellectual Property

The Service, its design, and its content — including FAITHPULSE™ and SVS™ — are owned by Phrontis Holdings LLC. These Terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service; they do not transfer ownership of anything.

10. Availability, Changes, and Disclaimers

We work to keep the Service running, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, add, or remove features over time. If we make a change that materially reduces what a paid plan provides, you may cancel and we will refund the unused portion of your term.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, and our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply only as far as the law allows.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from within the app. Deleting your account removes your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy; content you contributed to a shared group may remain visible to that group.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the product develops. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above and, where the change affects your rights or your bill, communicated to you in the app or by email before they take effect.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Virginia, except where applicable consumer law entitles you to bring a claim elsewhere.
